Your Total Body Workout
If you want to improve your body’s overall strength, flexibility and mobility then Pilates is the workout for you. In my classes I will take you through a series of low-impact, precise movements that will help you gain core strength and endurance. Named after Joseph Pilates who developed the exercises in 1945, Pilates offers you the chance to establish proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Not only is it a great way to condition your whole body it’s also a fantastic feel-good exercise, aids relaxation and concentration and can even improve sleep.
A Class That’s Right for You
I offer a number of small, friendly classes in Hove and Shoreham, from beginners to intermediate, and my aim is to make your Pilates experience as enjoyable as possible. You’ll work hard in my classes but I guarantee you’ll also have fun. Students in my classes work together but, as everyone is different, I do adapt the exercises to accommodate the physical capabilities of individual students.
If you are new to Pilates or have an injury, you will need to have a one-to-one induction session with me (for a one-off fee of £45) before you can join a class; this helps me get to know you and your body so I can tailor the Pilates movements for you to get the most out of your class.
